8:45 p.m.: About a dozen police officers were gathered at the Kum & Go at Highway 60 and Highway 125 in Rogersville at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday — over an hour after a car was stolen from the parking lot with a baby inside.

Store manager Shawn Sartin said a woman was inside the store and discovered the car and a 5-month-old were gone when she went back outside.

Sartin said the woman became distraught.

8:30 p.m.: Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott has activated every single deputy to assist in the search. The sheriff’s office asks for everyone to be on the lookout for this vehicle.

8:18 p.m.: An Amber Alert has been issued in this case.

Authorities are looking for a stolen car with a 5-month-old inside Wednesday night, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s office.

The car is a black 2007 Chevrolet Impala with Missouri plate DC43G, according to the tweet. It has damage to the front passenger side. The side windows are tinted but not the back glass.

It was stolen from a Kum & Go at 4996 S. Missouri 125 in Rogersville. It was last seen, on camera, driving west on U.S. 60.

The baby is wearing a onesie that says “loveable.”

Call 911 if you see the car or know anything about this.
